At Assistance Animals Consulting we love this quote from Gandhi. As veterinarians, we see the opportunity and need for better interprofessional collaboration between veterinary and human healthcare providers that supports appropriate selection, care, training, and oversight for assistance animals. Our goal is to serve and support healthcare providers as well as the individuals who use assistance animals. We see the need and we are creating the change, one partnership at a time.
