We partner with other veterinarians for support and guidance regarding assistance animals. It it is challenging keeping up with the pace and change with understanding the different types of assistance animals. It is important for you to be knowledgeable about the different types of assistance animals and their rights of access so you can appropriately support your clients. It is also important for you to have a well-rounded understanding of assistance animals so you can do your part as a veterinary professional to reduce or prevent service dog fraud.
